Enhancing Quality Assurance in Titanium Ingot Production
Aug 08, 2023
To meet the demanding objective of achieving "zero defects" in metallurgical quality, our company has established a dedicated task force focused on advancing the classification management of titanium sponges. We have diligently worked to improve raw material quality and minimize quality risks in the production of titanium ingots. Collaborating closely with the management department, we have formulated the "Quality Assurance and Technical Requirements for Premium-Grade Titanium Sponge," ensuring that the final ingots and titanium materials meet established standards and customer specifications.
Ensuring the traceability of the entire ingot production process, our smelting plant has emphasized the need for meticulous record-keeping across all melting workshops. This practice strengthens the supervision and inspection of the ingot production process. We have also developed a "Risk Control System for Dropping Blocks during the Primary Melting Process," along with specialized software for risk assessment, enhancing our ability to identify and address anomalies effectively.
Moreover, we have designed and produced dedicated aluminum and titanium wedges to eliminate any potential for carbide formation at its source, ensuring the highest quality of ingots. Our continuous effort to optimize process routes has fully leveraged the advantages of the newly added electric arc furnace's "long furnace type." This has resulted in the development of an optimal process system for the secondary and tertiary melting of titanium and titanium alloy ingots, where one electrode melts one ingot, achieving comprehensive high-quality, and high-efficiency production coverage.
Our commitment to metallurgical excellence extends to every aspect of our operations. Through stringent quality control measures and innovative techniques, we aim to exceed industry standards and customer expectations. With a focus on zero defects, we are dedicated to producing top-grade titanium ingots that contribute to our customer's success.
In conclusion, our company's unwavering pursuit of "zero defects" in metallurgical quality is reflected in the establishment of a dedicated task force and ongoing efforts to improve the production process. With comprehensive quality assurance and risk control systems in place, along with advanced process optimization, we are confident in our ability to achieve the highest quality standards in titanium ingot production. As we continuously strive for perfection, we remain committed to maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our valued customers.
