Major Breakthrough: Aerospace-Grade Wide Titanium Alloy Sheet Production Line Achieves Successful Testing

A significant milestone has been achieved in the key project aimed at providing high-quality materials for national security, aerospace, shipbuilding, and marine engineering—the Aerospace-Grade Wide Titanium Alloy Sheet Production Line. Today, we are proud to announce that the meticulously organized and scientifically coordinated production line has successfully conducted the TC4 alloy sheet roughing test rolling. It has successfully reduced the thickness of the alloy sheet from 240mm to 110mm semifinished products, marking a major breakthrough in the construction of the production line.

Since its commencement in 2021, our project team has always prioritized safety as the foundation and quality as the core. We have actively collaborated with on-site construction operations and process quality control, while also addressing technical issues related to civil construction and equipment installation. Regular project progress coordination meetings have ensured the smooth implementation of essential aspects such as factory construction, power supply and auxiliary systems, equipment foundation construction, and internal and external networks.

Through relentless efforts, we achieved the official power supply on April 14, 2023, and subsequently, on May 12, completed the line's entire transmission. Further successes followed, with the successful rolling of a 9mm pure titanium sheet on June 9 and the titanium roughing rolling on June 25. Each achievement embodies our work ethic of "self-reliance and hard work." Particularly noteworthy is our successful roughing trial of TA15 alloy on June 26 and TC4 alloy on June 27. The one-time success of these two alloy sheets not only signifies a significant advancement in the project's construction but also showcases the initial production capability of the domestically developed 1850mm titanium alloy hot rolling mill with independent intellectual property rights.

Despite these remarkable accomplishments, our project team is well aware that the journey ahead remains challenging. Going forward, we will further optimize the control system and strive for breakthroughs in the digital and information construction of the project, making fresh contributions to the high-quality development of the company.
