The WanHao Titanium 5G Smart Melting Industrial Park Project Nearing Trial Production

Baoji City - Recently, the WanHao Titanium 5G Smart Melting Industrial Park project in Baoji City has entered a crucial phase of intense equipment testing and preparation for production. With a total investment of 1.1 billion RMB, this project plans to construct high-standard industrial buildings, a research and development facility, as well as state-of-the-art titanium and titanium alloy ingot melting production lines and electrode automatic welding production lines. Currently, several sets of equipment, including 6 vacuum consumable arc furnaces, 2 vacuum welding chambers, and a 10,000-ton press, have been installed and tested. The remaining phase includes the installation of 4 vacuum consumable arc furnaces for the largest 20-ton single ingot casting in China, another 10,000-ton press with material mixing systems, and 2 electron beam cold hearth furnaces. Additionally, 10 heavy-duty machine tools and sawing machines for post-processing are set to be installed in the near future. Once all equipment installation and testing are completed, the project is expected to commence full-scale production by the end of the year.

After the project goes into operation, it is estimated to achieve an annual production capacity of 25,000 tons of titanium and titanium alloy ingots, resulting in an annual output value of 2.2 billion RMB. Furthermore, the project is expected to create more than 300 job opportunities, significantly boosting Baoji's production capabilities in titanium melting and ingot casting.
