With the historic breakthrough in Baoji's titanium material production and processing reaching 60,000 tons in 2023, Baoji has emerged as a crucial hub for the research and production of titanium metal materials in China, achieving a staggering 65% of the national production and 33% of global output. This achievement signifies Baoji's official ascent onto the global stage as the bona fide "China Titanium Valley."
As one of the key development focal points in the titanium and titanium alloy industry, Baoji actively responds to the "1151" development goals, aiming to elevate titanium material processing capacity to 100,000 tons and surpassing a total output value of 100 billion yuan for the titanium and new materials industry cluster. Simultaneously, it targets to have five listed companies and attract 100 high-level talents. The realization of these development goals will further enhance the high level and modernization of Baoji's titanium industry base and industrial chain.
Over the past two decades, the Baoji titanium and new materials industry cluster has continuously grown and expanded, being included in the national strategic emerging industry cluster development project. Baoji's titanium alloy medical materials have become qualified suppliers for clients in multiple countries, widely used in aerospace, navigation, new energy, chemical, medical, and health fields, exporting to over 20 countries and regions.
With the rise of Baoji's titanium industry, the city is moving towards a leading global position in the field of titanium metal materials, injecting new vitality and momentum into the prosperity and development of China's Titanium Valley.
