What efforts has Baotai city made to vigorously develop the titanium industry?

Since 2022, Baoji City has been vigorously implementing the "group leader system" and "supply chain leader system", aiming to build the "world titanium capital·China titanium valley" and construct an international first-class titanium industry cluster. It has deeply implemented the "six major projects" of strengthening backbone enterprises, gathering small and medium-sized enterprises, extending chains, enhancing innovation capability, introducing and cultivating talents, and optimizing service systems. "Baoji titanium and titanium alloys" has been rated as a strong brand product in Shaanxi Province, and the domestically developed high-strength and high-toughness titanium alloy plate with the largest single weight and longest length has been successfully developed.

While strengthening backbone enterprises, Baoji City has also accelerated the cultivation of small and medium-sized enterprises to promote collaborative development, significantly improving supporting cooperation. In November 2022, the Science and Technology New City Titanium and New Material Industrial Park (Phase II) completed 15 standardized workshops and a power center, which can accommodate more than 20 enterprises, achieving an annual output value of 1.2 billion yuan and an average annual output value of 4 million yuan per mu, driving the employment of more than 1,000 people. Recently, a batch of "titanium" super projects, such as the Marriott Titanium Gold 5G Intelligent Titanium Melting Industrial Park, started construction in Baoji City, the successful completion will make Baoji's "China Titanium Valley" integrate into the global industry chain and supply chain, and gradually buy into the "Titanium Capital of the World", thus realizing the successful transformation from industry cluster to industry community.
