Titanium Valley Rare Metal High-End Equipment Industrial Park Project Takes Shape

Baoji City, China - The Titanium Valley Rare Metal High-End Equipment Industrial Park project, a key construction initiative in Baoji City with a total investment of 900 million yuan, is set to breathe new life into the local titanium industry. The first phase of the project, with an investment of 320 million yuan, is well underway, featuring the construction of a 27,000 square meters factory, a 2,700 square meters ancillary facility, and a 2,800 square meters enterprise technical center. This phase also includes the acquisition of large-scale equipment such as a 20-ton vacuum welding box, a 10,000-ton hydraulic press, and the nation's largest 20-ton vacuum self-consumption electric arc furnace. The first phase aims to establish titanium smelting, titanium material, and high-end titanium equipment production lines.

Anticipated to receive a further investment of 580 million yuan, the second phase will see the construction of additional structures encompassing 65,334 square meters of factory, office, and R&D buildings, as well as dormitories and auxiliary facilities for both production and daily necessities. In addition, multiple production lines will be established for titanium products, titanium equipment, titanium lifestyle goods, military products, and new energy equipment. Upon completion, the project is expected to generate an annual sales revenue of 2 billion yuan, create 300 new job opportunities, and contribute 120 million yuan in taxes and profits. The development of the project will infuse Baoji's titanium industry with renewed vitality.

The construction site showcases the rapid progress of the project, with two towering modern factories taking shape as construction workers skillfully maneuver several large construction machines. According to project personnel, the first phase commenced construction at the end of November 2022, with China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corporation Limited scientifically scheduling resources and coordinating workers to work overtime to expedite the project's progress. The company also proactively managed equipment procurement, and currently, the project is progressing smoothly, with the anticipated commencement of production by the end of August.
