Product Introduction
Titanium Hex Flange Nut is a machined hex flange nut made from grade 5 titanium. It has a flange section on the one end of the nuts that acts as an integrated non-rotating washer. The flange function is to distribute the load placed on it to be extended over a wider surface area to prevent damage to the parts that are protected, reducing the chance of damage to the component. In this way, the flange acts as a washer to hold the nut evenly on the surface of the parts. So there is no requirement for washers during assembly, which will greatly reduce your time and money.
Titanium Hex Flange Nuts are very common and are widely used in softer mounting materials to produce a locking effect. The serrations bite into the material being fitted, making it will not loosen over time with a vibration. Our Hex Flange nuts are made from TC4 titanium alloy for strength and corrosion resistance. Titanium is entirely rust-proof and high strength and non-magnetic.
