1. smelting process: choose first-grade sponge Ti-6Al-7Nb Titanium intermediate alloy as raw material, composition mixing → press electrode → melting in secondary or tertiary vacuum consumable furnace to get qualified ingots with uniform composition, the most important thing is to control the uniformity of niobium.

2. Heat treatment process. Ti-6Al-7Nb titanium alloy is a rod alloy, heat treated in an electric furnace with a simple annealing process at 700°C/h with air cooling.

3. deformation process and properties. Ti-6Al-7Nb belongs to α+β titanium alloy, and its thermal processing process is similar to Ti-6Al-4V, and the general heating temperature of the ingot is 1150℃-1200℃. By hot forging, finishing forging, and hot rolling, this alloy can be made into Ti-6Al-7Nb bars of various diameters, which can meet the tensile properties and other properties specified in the technical standards at room temperature. In addition, it can be made into Ti-6Al-7Nb sheets for medical implantation too.
