The 2023 China Titanium Industry Summit Was Held in Baoji

On April 19th, 2023, the China Titanium Industry Summit was held at the Aston Uptown Hotel in ChenCang District, Baoji City. More than 500 experts, scholars, and industry elites from all over the country gathered in the China Titanium Valley of Baoji to discuss the high-end intelligent development trends of the titanium and titanium alloy industry, explore new paths for high-quality industry development, and contribute more to the national strategic industry and China's manufacturing industry.
At the opening ceremony of the summit, Ge Honglin, President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Wang Yong, Mayor of Baoji City, Wei Bingbo, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lei Rangqi, President of the Titanium Zirconium and Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association delivered speeches successively.
In his speech, Lei Rangqi first expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the Titanium Zirconium and Hafnium Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association to the leaders and guests attending the summit. He pointed out that the China Titanium Industry Summit, as a window and platform for industry exchanges and cooperation connecting government, industry, academia, research, and application, has become the most professional and influential comprehensive event in the domestic titanium industry. With the strong support of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and the Baoji Municipal Government, this summit has gathered a large number of high-level experts, associations, and enterprises from home and abroad, and will bring us more new thinking and exploration from a more professional and international perspective.
Lei Rangqi hoped that the titanium industry could seize the opportunity of this summit, focus on the construction of the "dual circulation" new development pattern, grasp opportunities, deepen exchanges, and work together to accelerate the resolution of key issues such as external resource dependence, overheated investment, key technologies, and green development, and promote the industry to achieve higher quality development.
