Gr2 Titanium Target Tube

Gr2 Titanium target tube is made of titanium metal material. Titanium is a lustrous metal, silver in color, low density, and high strength; its strong, lightweight characteristics and excellent corrosion resistance make it ideal for ocean liner hulls, aircraft engines, and designer jewelry; and it has Perfect fit biological and biomechanical properties as one of the most important biocompatible metals, so titanium sputtering target tubing made from titanium material also has all the properties of titanium. It is also highly resistant to corrosion and is used in chemical equipment in many chemical plants.

Due to the special forming process we use, our Gr2 Titanium target tube has higher density, fine grain size, and high purity due to higher sputtering speeds and obtains very homogeneous titanium layers for thin film applications. The density is also an important measurement of the quality of titanium sputtering target tubes. In order to reduce the porosity in the target solids and improve the performance of the sputtered film, so higher densities of Titanium Rotary Sputtering targets are usually required.
