Since the beginning of this year, our company has been earnestly studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th Party Congress, carrying out thematic education in a solid manner. Our company has strengthened theoretical learning to guide practical work, deepened investigations and research on development challenges, continuously optimized product structure, and enhanced profitability. By predicting industry trends in advance and assessing price adjustments rationally, we have proactively responded to market changes. We revised the assessment method for sales staff responsibilities, inspiring team dynamics and improving cooperation, resulting in a significant expansion of the market reach and remarkable results in the development of new customer markets. We have also enhanced the efficiency of production processes, reduced contract lead times, and effectively increased the output of downstream processes.

2. Reform and innovation

New highlights in management improvement

Our company adheres to a goal-oriented and problem-oriented approach, anchoring the annual production and operational goals, and identifying 12 key tasks. By focusing on these key tasks, we have smoothly carried out various work. We continue to control costs, calculate the process cost of products, establish allocation modules, and implement market-oriented contract operations in the waterjet process, achieving significant results. In the precision finishing workshop, we conducted simulations of market operations to lay a solid foundation for gradually realizing the simulation of market operations on three production lines. We revised regulations and strengthened enforcement, improved the management system for material procurement in two aspects, making the procurement process more standardized. We have also focused on enhancing the overall competence of cadres, strengthening cadre management, and implementing strict and practical assessments to showcase the abilities and performance of our cadres. We strengthened fund control, reduced the two types of funds, and implemented stricter constraints on cash flow ratios, applying a "payment first, delivery later" approach and adhering to the fund balance meeting system, effectively improving risk prevention and control capabilities.

3. Multiple measures in production management

New achievements in production management

Our company prioritizes improving on-time delivery rates, coordinating production planning, and processing capacity arrangements to ensure smooth and orderly production. Faced with a backlog of contracts, we broke away from the centralized production mode and flexibly adjusted production methods to achieve balanced delivery of various products. By optimizing the heating process and technology of furnaces #2 and #3, we achieved an average increase in production per shift, leading to a 19.36% increase in the output of the rolling mill. During the second quarter labor competition, the production department coordinated material flow, and strictly controlled raw material acceptance and feeding time, ensuring a continuous and rapid production pace. For contracts involving unconventional-sized plates, we developed process flows in advance, meticulously controlled key processes, and successfully completed the production tasks of extra-long and extra-wide plates. Furthermore, the Wide and Thick Plate Company has normalized hazard investigation and rectification, implemented precise corrective actions, and established four standardized demonstration teams for safety management, continuously improving the production environment and enhancing safety management levels.

4. Stable quality

New progress in technology research and development

Our company continues to strengthen process control, resulting in overall stability in the surface quality of finished titanium sheets. From January to June, the rate of defective products and the first-pass yield both exceeded the assessment targets. In terms of technology research and development, we improved the process for furnace #2 to significantly enhance the uniformity of temperature, and adjusted the finished product process, effectively avoiding the risk of plate scratching while increasing the output per shift. We continue to explore furnace conditions, optimize nickel alloy heating processes, and develop rolling deformation rates and roughing processes to reduce plate rolling temperature drops. In conjunction with the performance improvement, we conducted cold straightening experiments, explored the cold shrinking of copper plates to improve the yield, and implemented large deformation rolling for high-purity aluminum to steadily enhance product quality. Additionally, we actively engaged in scientific research and trial production of new products, successfully rolling the largest-sized titanium alloy plate to date.

5. Equipment support

New improvements in equipment capabilities

We strengthen equipment management, implementing a dual-level inspection and operation mode, and enhancing supervision over weak links in spare part production and arrival acceptance. We conduct scientific preventive maintenance and continuously improve the basic data of the equipment management information platform. In the second quarter, the comprehensive failure rate of key and main equipment was less than 1%, and the equipment availability rate steadily improved. We continuously carry out equipment technological upgrades, completing more than ten tasks including the reform of the isothermal segment in furnace #2, adjusting the axle bushing of the main motor of the rolling mill, resolving issues related to the grinding wheel vibration and residual knife marks on the rolling mill, and transforming the feeding roller road of the 3120KW roller hearth furnace. We also advance fixed asset investment projects in an orderly manner, focusing on the completion of the deep-sea equipment large single heavy slab heating trolley furnace project to address the problem of heating large single heavy slabs.

People-oriented, gathering strength

Our company has carried out the "Two Services, Two Enhancements" special activities, focusing on bottlenecks in central work and issues of concern to the masses. We conducted in-depth investigations and collected opinions from employees to do practical and good things for them. We have renovated drinking water heaters and replaced water basins in sanitary areas, continuously improving facilities for teams and enhancing the working environment on the production site. The 15 issues concerning the urgent needs of the masses will be addressed one by one. We also conducted the "Practical and Responsible for Promoting Development" activity, putting forward more than 40 suggestions and views beneficial to the high-quality development of the company, significantly raising employee cost awareness and business awareness. Our cadres and employees expressed their commitment to remain focused on annual goals and tasks, making the thematic education deeper and more practical, and achieving new accomplishments through learning and action, contributing to the high-quality development of the company.
