Product Introduction
what is Gr.7 titanium seamless tube?

pRODUCT INTRODUCTION:
Grade 7 titanium tubes are made from Grade 7 titanium alloy, which is primarily composed of a high proportion of pure titanium (approximately 99.5%) and a small amount of palladium. Compared to other commercially pure titanium, the addition of palladium enhances its corrosion resistance and increases its strength.
Gr.7 titanium tubes exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance, especially in corrosive environments such as seawater, salt solutions, and certain acidic conditions. The presence of palladium in the alloy makes it particularly suitable for applications that involve prolonged exposure to corrosive media.
While the strength of Grade 7 titanium is not as high as some other titanium alloys, it still possesses favorable strength characteristics. Therefore, Gr.7 titanium tubes are suitable for applications that demand both high strength and corrosion resistance. Common applications include heat exchangers, condensers, seawater desalination plants, seawater cooling systems, chemical reactors, and medical implants.

Products Features:
Corrosion Resistance:
Titanium has exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive environments such as those found in condensers and heat exchangers. This resistance helps maintain the integrity of the tubes over an extended period, reducing the need for maintenance and replacements.

High Strength-to-Weight Ratio
Titanium is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, making it a lightweight yet strong material. This is advantageous in applications where weight is a critical factor, and it helps improve the overall efficiency of the heat exchanger or condenser.

Thermal Conductivity
Titanium has good thermal conductivity, allowing for efficient heat transfer in heat exchangers and condensers. This property ensures that the tubes can effectively facilitate the exchange of heat between the fluids, leading to optimal performance.

Low Thermal Expansion
Titanium exhibits low thermal expansion, meaning that it undergoes minimal dimensional changes with temperature variations. This property is crucial in applications where temperature fluctuations are common, as it helps maintain the structural integrity of the tubes.
